Basic InformationHello,
The beginning of the school year has been fantastic. The students are transitioning well into 2nd grade. We will continue to practice the C.A.R.E.S. qualities in class. The one we are focusing on more often is having self-control. Having self-control means to control your words and actions. This means knowing expectations during centers, whole group, and independent work. Expectations: Whole group- Raising hand, turning and talking when asked to do so, listening quietly, not interrupting the speaker, or talking to neighbors. Independent work- No talking and raising hands if you have a question. Staying in one spot Centers- following the directions to the center, Staying in once spot. Working the entire time. Using low speaking voice if the center is with a group. We will continue to practice following directions. We are improving everyday. Love, Mrs. Morenzoni Our ScheduleMonday - P.E.

Classroom ManagementClass Dojo
Please email me about your child's code that was sent home. It is a great way to keep in touch about everything going on in our classroom. Helpful hint: Students can only change their character if they have a student account. We can do it in class when we have a moment, but once they have set up a student account I cannot change the monster. Link to Class Dojo Login GoNoodle Get moving at home. In class, we add questions to review while moving. We even love the brain breaks with a few silly videos. Technology in the Classroom
In our classroom, we are using technology as one tool to engage learning in our classroom. We do limit the time we are using the technology throughout the day and I believe there is a balance between technology and hand on activities.
Please feel out the survey below so I can have a better understanding of how you and your child use technology at home. Click here for our technology survey. |
